Edward R. Warren (1860-1942), Papers [1911?]-1939

Notes made by Edward R. Warren during his observation of beavers and other mammals in Colorado and especially in El Paso County. The collection includes photographs of beaver dams and evidence of beaver activity along Monument Creek in El Paso County, Colorado. Also included is a census of big game and fur-bearing mammals in Colorado counties in the 1930s. Edward Warren was a nationally known naturalist and the author of several books about Colorado wildlife.
